Booking terms & conditions

By booking an appointment with James Greenaway Therapies, you agree to the following terms:

Appointments
All appointments must be booked in advance. Confirmation of booking indicates your agreement to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a cancellation fee will be charged.
- This fee must be paid before any further appointments can be made.
Illness
If you are unwell the day before your scheduled appointment (cold/flu etc) please cancel the appointment as you wont be well enough the day after to attend. Even if you feel better the day after, treatment may not be suitable
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to avoid impacting other clients. The full session fee will still apply.
No-Show Policy
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a cancellation fee being applied as follows;
40min/55min sessions - £13
90min/120min sessions - £27
Health & Medical Information
Before your first appointment, you will be required to complete a confidential health, medical, and lifestyle consultation form. This helps ensure that your treatment is safe, appropriate, and tailored to your individual needs.
It is essential that you disclose any medical conditions, injuries, medications, recent surgeries, pregnancy, allergies, or other health concerns. You should also inform your therapist of any changes to your health status before future appointments. If any changes occur regarding their health, medical conditions, personal details, or other relevant information. An updated form must be completed either when changes arise or after 12 months have passed, whichever comes first.
Failure to provide accurate and up-to-date information may affect the safety, suitability, and effectiveness of your treatment.
This information is essential to ensure safe and appropriate treatment at all times.
Right to Refuse Treatment
James Greenaway Therapies reserves the right to refuse or end a treatment if the therapist feels the client’s health, behaviour, or condition makes the treatment unsafe or inappropriate. Full charges may still apply.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of treatment.
Cancellation fees must be paid before booking future appointments.
Complaints Procedure
If a client wishes to make a complaint about any aspect of their treatment or service, they may do so by contacting James directly via email at james@jamesgreenaway.com or by telephone on 07518 336213. All complaints will be handled professionally and confidentially.
Respect & Professional Conduct Policy
All treatments are strictly professional and therapeutic.
Any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to:
• Sexual comments or jokes
• Sexual advances or propositions
• Inappropriate touching of the therapist
• Requests for sexual services or “extras”
• Lewd, offensive, threatening, or abusive behaviour
will result in the treatment being terminated immediately.
In such circumstances:
• The full treatment fee will remain payable.
• You will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
• Any future appointments will be cancelled.
• You will not be permitted to re-book services.
• Where necessary, incidents may be reported to the relevant authorities.
The therapist maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct.
Changes to Terms
James Greenaway Therapies reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
